Reservoir Dogs

It seems unbelievable that the Reservoir Dogs warehouse was torn down, but I guess no one realised the significance at the time.Just imagine the tourist bucks, $5 entrance, Stealers Wheel CDs, souvenir rubber ears…. missed opportunity or what?Well you can still worship at the site it’s now – inevitably for Los Angeles – a parking lot or check out the alleyways of the bloody shootout after the robbery.

Eat Me Zombie

While still working on his career in locations, Rocco has also recently launched his own independent production house, Nisivoccia Films. Taking what he’s learned about the industry, he and his team have already developed two short independent films, as well as a documentary, which they’re shopping around to different distributors. One of those two shorts – a zombie film called Eat Me – will be screening at the New York No Limits Film Festival in March and the Garden State Film Festival in April.“It’s funny to think about my first days on a set after I graduated, where I was just in awe of everything going on around me,” he says. “I was all wide-eyed, looking at this gigantic crew bringing a movie to life. Now I’m right there in the middle of it helping to make it all happen, and even making my own movies. It’s a great feeling.”Check out the website for Rocco’s zombie short film Eat Me at www.eatmezombie.com.

How Caroline Kennedy blackmailed Disney to scrap sexed-up Camelot series – NYPOST.com

January 17, 2011

Caroline Kennedy

Toward the end of the first week of January, an assistant in the office of Abbe Raven, president of the A&E cable channels, made a courtesy call to net work partner ABC.

Was there any conflict if the His tory channel, one of A&E’s affiliates, scheduled its new, eight-hour mini series “The Ken nedys” to air in March?

The answer came back: Not March — not ever.

Why?

Caroline Kennedy had leveled an ultimatum to the companies — dump the reportedly warts- and-all miniseries or lose her cooperation in the planned fall release of never-before-heard conversations with her mother.

The Dark Tower

“I really can’t stop thinking about it,” Howard said while shaking his head. “We’ve been meeting and talking and I’ve been reading and researching and just kind of living with it. I’ve been constantly going through stuff and I’ve just been re-listening to it [on audio books] on my iPod and we’ve been sending e-mails back and forth, ‘What about this approach? What do you think of this idea?’ We’re finding the shape of it. We’re moving quickly now, as quickly as we can, and I feel challenged in the most exciting ways.”
